Fire crews battled a 3-acre brush fire in Ocoee on Monday.
The fire was between Pineknot Court and Grand Poplar Street, WESH 2 News reported.
Nearly a dozen firefighters from the Ocoee Fire Department and the Orange County Fire Department worked to contain the fire.
There are homes nearby, but none were threatened. The fire is burning away from homes, and fire officials said it appears the fire is burning itself out as it nears a retention pond.
The Orange County Fire Department said some children in the area were setting off fireworks.
