Kansas City Fire Vehicle Involved In Car Accident

Two people were taken to a local hospital.

A Kansas City firefighter was involved in a car accident in the Northland late Thursday afternoon.

Battalion Chief Germaine Friends was on his way to a fire when another car hit his SUV at Vivion and Antioch roads. The SUV then hit a third vehicle, officials said.

Two people were taken to a local hospital. Friends was not injured.
