It took about 80 firefighters to bring a three alarm blaze under control at the Cancun Cantina along Old Telegraph Road near BWI. When firefighters arrived on the scene Saturday night, they reported heavy smoke showing from the roof of the restaurant and bar. Medics were dispatched to the 7501 Old Telegraph Road to treat two people for smoke inhalation. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said all 100 or so patrons inside the nightclub were able to get out safely. Fire investigators said two employees grabbed fire extinguishers and tried to put out the blaze on the second floor. No word on the extent of the damage to the building or what may have caused the fire Saturday night. The fire was first reported at about 9:30 p.m. Fire equipment blocked a stretch of Old Telegraph Road near the nightclub while they battled the blaze.
