Words Worth Millions In Montana Firefighters’ Lawsuit

A judge ruled last week that a sentence or two in the city’s contract with the firefighters obligates the city of Billings to pay $2,994,409 in back wages and a penalty of $253,000.

Someone once said a picture is worth 1,000 words. The assertion is nonsense, of course. Many pictures are not worth the few syllables used in a caption to describe them.
