Pennsylvania Fire Police Captain Dies

The fire station in Union City, Pa. is being draped in black today as firefighters prepare to bury one of their own.

Fire Police Capt. James Lafferty, 68, collapsed late Monday night at the scene of a house fire. Colleagues rushed to his side immediately. However, they were not able to revive him said First Assistant Chief John Fielding.
