Authorities said 46 people were forced to evacuate their hotel early Monday because of a fire.
The fire happened around 3 a.m. at the Sleep Inn and Suites on Yankee Street in Washington Township. Authorities said the fire started in the mechanical room next to the pool area.
Officials said the fire then spread to the lower part of the second floor wall. Fire crews managed to keep the fire inside the wall area.
Firefighters believe an electrical problem started the fire.
