Pennsylvania Firefighter Dies After Fall

The volunteer fell from a fire truck on Saturday.

A long-time volunteer at Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company in Pennsylvana died Sunday, Sept. 9 of injuries sustained in a fall on Saturday.

George Crotts suffered severe head injuries when he fell from a truck he was working on.

Crotts had been with the fire company for 52 years. He served as an engineer.

Funeral Information

Visitation for Engineer George Crotts will be held Friday, Sept. 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Chelten Baptist Church, 1601 N. Limekiln Pike, Upper Dublin, Penn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. with internment to follow at Whitemarsh Cemetery.
