Dallas Fire Engine Sideswiped In Hit-And-Run

No one was hurt but the truck was badly scratched, police said.

Dallas police were looking Sunday for a driver who hit a fire truck and fled the scene.

The hit-and-run accident happened overnight on Gaston Avenue near White Rock Lake.

Firefighters said they were working a minor accident when they heard a thud, then realized someone sideswiped the fire engine.

No one was hurt but the truck was badly scratched, police said.
