The county bomb squad is investigating a suspicious package in Landover.

The package was brought to a facility that processes mail for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the 3600 block of Pennsy Drive.

County fire and police officials responded, and confirmed that the package contained components that are needed to construct explosives.

Fire department spokesman Mark Brady said that employees spotted the package while X-raying mail.

A partial evacuation of the building is underway. No injuries have been reported.
