Firefighters Battle Sioux City, Iowa House Fire

Witnesses spotted smoke coming from the second floor of a Sioux City house around 9:30 Wednesday morning

Firefighters were called to 1219 25th street, near the intersection of 25th and Wall Street, to battle smoke billowing from the home.

The fire was dosed within a couple hours, only to be rekindled moments later, with flames visible from outside the home. In all, it took firefighters about three hours to extinguish the fire.

Joe Rodriguez of the Sioux City Fire Department said,
