We recently held a ceremony in Brooklyn, NY, to honor the top honoree in our Firehouse® Magazine Heroism and Community Service Awards program. When we arrived at the firehouse, the captain told us that shortly before, a firefighter from that firehouse rescued a colleague who had fallen through a roof and was seriously burned.
