In Lauderdale County, 5 fire-fighters were hit by a truck. It happened on Highway 72 in Rogersville.

The firefighters were fixing a flat tire when a motorist sped by stopped and returned backing into them.

All five firemen went to the hospital.

We're told that none of those injuries were life-threatening but one of the firefighters is still in the hospital.

State troopers say 42-year-old Ernest Trousdale hit the volunteer firemen. Trousdale's family members say he suffers from schyzophrenia and was "off" his medication.
