BELLEVUE, Neb. (AP) -- A 10-year-old girl died in a house fire early Saturday.
Seven family members escaped the 1 a.m. blaze and were standing outside the home when firefighters arrived, Fire Department spokesman David Szymanski said.
The 10-year-old girl was found by firefighters in an upstairs bedroom. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The girl's parents, a 15-year-old girl and 7-month-old baby were admitted to a hospital for injuries suffered in the blaze. A 17-year-old girl, 3-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl were treated at another hospital and released.
Officials were searching for the cause of the fire, Szymanski said.
