Rosenbauer America introduced a new proprietary cab and chassis today at Texas Motor Speedway.
Called the Commander, the cab and chassis are the first of its kind for the company, built from the ground up at a new facility in Minnesota.
The truck incorporates many of the fire service's stated safety inititatives including airbag protection. It has also been crash tested and is fully compliant with the latest EPA emissions standards.
The first units will be in service with departments in April.
