A woman and her young daughter sustained minor injuries when their vehicle collided with a Indianapolis ladder truck Wednesday afternoon.

Tracy Carter, 26, complained of hip pain and her 3-year-old daughter suffered a cut to her lip following the crash that occurred around 2 p.m. at 30th Street and Central Avenue, according to The Indianapolis Star.

The ladder truck was on an emergency run and firefighters told police that they cleared the intersection before proceeding through, but didn't spot the woman's Chevrolet Impala.

Carter told police that she had a green light and did not see the fire truck.

The vehicle struck the side of the apparatus at its rear wheel and only caused minor damage.

None of the firefighters on the ladder truck were injured.
