Washington Crews Extricate Driver, Car After Crash

Olympia firefighters had to extricate both a driver and his vehicle after a crashed into a building.

Olympia firefighters had to extricate both a driver and his vehicle after a crashed into a television studio on Wednesday.

The car went partially into the structure with half of it hanging out into an alley after it ran through TVW studios in the afternoon hours, according to The Associated Press.

Crews were able to quickly remove the trapped driver who was alert and talking to firefighters and pulled the car from the building more than an hour after the crash.

The crash sent debris throughout a room inside the structure.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
