LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles firefighters have fully contained a 90-acre brush fire on the mountain near the famed Getty Center art museum.

The fire department said Sunday that firefighters were demobilizing, but would leave a small contingent at the scene overnight.

No injuries were reported and no structures were burned.

The blaze erupted about 3:30 p.m. Friday on the east side of the busy Interstate 405.

About 150 firefighters and water-dropping helicopters.battled the flames.

The Getty Center, home to one of the world's major art collections that includes works by Cezanne, Rembrandt, Titian and Vincent van Gogh, evacuated visitors and staff on Friday as a precaution and closed.

Access roads to the museum were closed off and on during the weekend.
