A man handing out political flyers in an Oregon neighborhood became a hero Wednesday evening, and caught some of his actions on video.
Not only did Michael Taeu rescue the woman from her burning home, but he also put out the fire.
He heard the smoke detectors sounding, and someone yelling for help. He crawled low, and managed to find the woman in an upstairs bedroom, according to the Clackamas Fire Department.
She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Crews believe the fire would have been much worse had it not been for Taeu.
