Nov. 09--A third child involved in a tragic house fire in Racine that killed two little girls has died.

Michael Scott, 7, was pronounced dead Friday, his uncle Michael Scott Jr. said Friday.

His brother, Luther Patterson, 5, remains at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and is progressing, Scott said.

The two sisters of the boys, Dayja Scott, 9, and Dalijah Scott, 8, both died in the early Thursday morning fire at their home in the 1900 block of Linden Ave.

The children's mother, Deborah Scott, 30, and Lemont Siller, 29, and two police officers who rescued Siller from the home, were also injured.

The four children were pulled from a bedroom of the home amid intense heat and smoke, fire officials said.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, though it is believed to be accidental, officials said. It's believed the fire started in a bathroom in the home.
