Jan. 21--WENATCHEE -- Police say an SUV may have been used by someone who threw three Molotov cocktails at a duplex in the 1100 block of Springwater Avenue about 4:15 p.m. Saturday.

The SUV showed up on a video from a store in the area about the time the inflammatory devices were thrown, said Sgt. Cherie Smith. She did not have further details about the vehicle this morning.

No one was injured but at least one person was in the bedroom when one of the Molotov cocktails broke the bedroom window and landed inside, police said. Two other devices were thrown but landed outside the home. The home was described as a single-story duplex.

The fire inside the bedroom was put out by residents, with help from Wenatchee firefighters.

Police said Sunday that the residents said they did not know who threw the devices.

Anyone with information about the incident or who saw someone running in the area around 4:15 p.m. Saturday is asked to call Det. Brian Chance at 888-4254.
