Firehouse to Stream West Memorial Service Live

Firehouse will offer live streaming of the memorial service for the 12 fallen firefighters killed in the fertilizer plant explosion.

Firehouse will offer live streaming of the memorial service for the 12 fallen firefighters killed in the West Texas fertilizer plant explosion beginning at 1:45 p.m. Central Time, Thursday, April 25.

Thousands of mourners, including President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama and U.S. Fire Administrator Ernest Mitchell Jr. are expected to attend to pay respects to the family and friends and co-workers of the fallen.  President Obama and Mitchell are also among those scheduled to speak during the event.

Firefighters from around the country will be gathering at the Baylor University’s Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas 76706 for the service. Color guards and apparatus will also be attending the event and participating in a procession.

The live stream will be located on the Firehouse.com home page beginning at 1:45 p.m. (CT) Thursday.
