On Friday, a number of departments across the country were notified they have received Fire Prevention & Safety and AFG grants.

Also, a number of programs geared to prevent fires and ultimately, save firefighters' lives, were funded as well.
The FP&S money will go to a number of departments.
There were no SAFER grants awarded this week.
