Pa. Firefighter Hurt in Crash While Responding

The firefighter in a department SUV was responding to a house fire in Washington County.

June 27--A firefighter was injured this morning when a department SUV crashed en route to a Washington County blaze.

A county dispatch supervisor said the fire on Vista Hill Road in North Strabane was reported at 10:18 a.m. and is now under control.

Six minutes after the fire was first called in, someone reported a crash involving the SUV.

The injured firefighter was driven to Allegheny General Hospital.
