Florida Fire Truck Hit While Responding; All OK

July 19--Palm Beach County Fire Rescue will be reviewing how one of their vehicles was hit this morning while traveling to a wreck on Florida's Turnpike, a fire rescue spokesman said.

The rescue vehicle was responding to a wreck in the southbound lanes near mile marker 90 around 7:40 a.m. when it was hit by another vehicle.

No one was injured in either wreck, said fire rescue spokesman Capt. Albert Borroto.

"This incident will be under department review," he said in a statement.
