W.Va. Firefighter Headed to Fire Slams into Mobile Home

A volunteer firefighter, responding to a fire call, crashed his pickup into a mobile home in West Virginia on Tuesday morning.

Neither the Salt Rock firefighter nor the two women in the trailer was hurt, according to WSAZ.com.

The firefighter ttold reporters he was run off the road by another driver. He ended going off the road, then up the handicap ramp at the trailer before coming to a stop on the front porch of the home.

The trailer has minor damage.

The firefighter was responding to a fire just after 6 a.m. at another mobile home near Salt Rock, about an eighth of a mile from where he crashed, the station reported.
