Vehicle Crashes into Conn. Firehouse

Aug. 13--HARTFORD -- A 25-year-old man crashed into a firehouse while under the influence of narcotics on Monday night, police said.

Rafael Noguet, of Barker Street in Hartford, is charged with driving under the influence, interfering with police and no insurance.

Police say Noguet crashed into the firehouse at 721 Park Street at 7:17 p.m. Firefighters found Noguet sitting in his Toyota Corolla, police said.

A bay door at the firehouse and the front end of Noguet's Corolla were damaged in the crash, police said.
