Cops: Vermont Firefighter Caused Crash

The brush truck driver wasn't wearing corrective lenses as required.

A Vermont firefighter whom police say cut off a motorcyclist was driving contrary to license requirements.

Gregg Barr, 22, who was driving a Bennington brush truck, turned left in front of a motorcyclist, according to WCAX.com.

Kimberly Hathaway, 54, was seriously injured when her motorcycle struck the side of the fire truck in front in of the Bennington Rural Fire Department. 

Barr was ticketed for failing to wear corrective lenses while driving-- a requirement of his license, the station reported.
