Nov. 18--KLEBERG COUNTY -- A fire continues to burn Monday at ExxonMobil's King Ranch Gas Plant in western Kleberg County.

The fire broke out at about 1 a.m., company spokesman David Eglinton said. All personnel were accounted for and no injuries were reported, he said.

Although firefighters were still working on the blaze, it did not appear to be spreading, Eglinton said.

There was no information on where the fire originated or what caused it.

The plant is shut down.

It processes natural gas and has pipeline connections with other plants and refineries throughout the Texas coast, according to the company's website.
