Fire in Chicago H.S. Chem Lab Injures Two

Nov. 25--Two students were hospitalized this afternoon after a fire broke out in a chemistry lab at Lincoln Park High School, officials said.

Firefighters were called to the high school, 2001 N. Orchard St. at about noon, said Chicago Fire Department Spokesman Will Knight.

After firefighters put out the fire, two students were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital where their condition had stablized.

Chicago Public School officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
