Md. Fire Chief Gets 'Cake of Resignation'

Firefighter Glenn Travis Lambert served up his retirement to fellow colleagues -- one piece at a time.

It takes the cake -- so to speak.

While cakes are typical fare at retirement celebrations, rarely do you see it taking on a more important role.

But, that's what happened in Prince George's County Fire Department on Monday.

Glenn Travis Lambert's letter of resignation was featured on one side, and his official department photo on the other.

Many of his fire department colleagues, including Chief Marc Bashoor found the letter rather tasty.
