Va. Fire Truck Strikes, Kills Pedestrian

The man was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.


A man was struck and killed by a Virginia fire truck Friday night.

The Stafford County fire truck was responding to a vehicle crash on I-95 when it struck the man on Warrenton Road. 

The driver of the fire engine tried to avoid the man, but was unable to do so, Stafford County deputies told local media.

The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead,
