Jan. 03--ANTIOCH -- Crews quickly contained a blaze in an old fire station building Thursday night, according to a fire official.
Firefighters responded to Deerfield Drive around 8:20 p.m., said a dispatcher with the Contra Costa Fire Protection District.
Smoke and flames were clearly visible in the building, which is now owned by the city of Antioch, and crews were able to contain the fire by 8:50 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
