Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Responding S.C. Fire Truck

The North Charleston fire truck was responding to an emergency.

A bicyclist was killed Thursday night after being struck by a North Charleston fire truck that was responding to a call..

The fatal wreck occurred shortly after 11 p.m Thursday on Cross County Road, according to The Post and Courier.

The fire truck's lights and siren were activated when the wreck occurred. The S.C. Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
