Firefighters in Redwood City are battling a fire in a commercial building.
The fire -- dispatched at 5:52 a.m. -- quickly went to six alarms, according to NBCBayArea.
The fire is in the FMW Machine Shop, which services include welding, brazing, soldering, processing, forming, heat treatment, machining and processing, the station reported.
Four apartments also were involved in the fire in San Mate County near Redwood City, according to Fire Marshal Jim Palisi.
