The crew were getting out of the fire truck in the firehouse when shots struck.

A Cleveland firefighter narrowly missed being shot last week in his firehouse.

Firefighters were getting out of a fire truck they'd just parked when they heard the shots. One went through the front window of the firehouse while another hit the windshield molding on the front of the truck, according to The Cleveland Leader.

Police were called to the station on Pearl Road last Thursday to investigate. But, just how close it was wasn't mentioned until Monday.

Firefighters said that they did not see any suspects, and police are describing the shooting as random.
