Two Fort Meyers firefighters were injured in a roof collapse at a structure fire.

One suffered a hip fracture, the other a clavicle, according to WINK.

Both are expected to be OK.

Crews were battling a blaze at a youth center that was under renovation.

Fort Meyers Battalion Chief David Tilton told reporters: ."In my position its trying not to focus in on them, because I still have to stay in command of the situation, and I realize that my personnel are trained to do what needs to be done and I still need to continue on with my job of overseeing everything, calling in additional resources, makings sure that we had the medics there and other things are taken care of..."

A number of firefighters showed up at the hospital to visit their injured colleagues.
