N.C. Department Mourns Loss of Former Chief

Four Oaks Firefighter Thomas Gerald Lee, 67, had responded to a call within 24 hours.

Firefighters in North Carolina are mourning the loss of a former chief.

Four Oaks Firefighter Thomas Gerald Lee, 67, died Feb. 1 within 24 hours of a response, according to the USFA.

The 36-year fire service veteran had responded to call on Jan. 31. 

Visitation will be from 5-9 on Wednesday night at Beulah Christian Church.

The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Beulah Christian Church, 1701 Keen Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.

There will be a procession from the church to downtown Four Oaks and then back to the church cemetery where he will be buried.
