N.J. Fire Truck Hits Tree, Firefighter Injured

A New Jersey fire engine crashed into a tree Wednesday morning leaving a fighter injured.

The firefighter from Three Bridges Fire Company was pinned in the wreckage, and had to be extricated, according to Hunterdon County Democrat.

The Flemington-Raritan Rescue Squad extricated the driver after the 10:10 a.m. wreck, and transported him to Hunterdon Medical Center, the paper reported.

Roads in the area were icy and slushy at the time.
