Six Killed in Wrong Way Crash on LA Highway

POMONA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a wrong-way driver on a Southern California freeway caused a pre-dawn crash that left six people dead.

City News Service reported that the accident occurred around 4:50 a.m. Sunday on the westbound Pomona Freeway north of Diamond Bar Boulevard and involved multiple vehicles.

Los Angeles County Coroner's Lt. Fred Corral says the dead included four females and two males.

Corral says another person who was injured in the crash was listed in serious condition at a Los Angeles County hospital.
