Four children, including two infants, were injured in a Brooklyn fire Sunday, officials said.
The FDNY responded to the fifth-floor blaze in a Third Avenue high-rise in Boerum Hill around 2:15 a.m. and we able to get the flames under control in 20 minutes.
Rescuers placed oxygen masks on the children and carried them out of the building.
Two infants and one older child were rushed to Methodist Hospital, officials said. One of the infants was in critical condition, while the other one was listed in serious injuries condition, officials said. The third child suffered minor injuries.
A fourth child was taken to Cornell in serious condition and one adult was treated for minor injuries at Methodist, authorities said.
It’s not immediately clear what caused the fire in the 21-story building.
