March 18--Hillsborough County Fire Rescue firefighters are working a two-alarm fire at a Tampa apartment complex where a person was injured and taken to a local hospital.
The fire started at around 10:40 p.m. in a third-floor apartment unit at the Whisper Lake Condominiums, 3849 S. Lake Drive. The condominiums are located off of Dale Mabry Highway just north of Humphrey Street.
When firefighters arrived on scene, fire was seen going through the roof, said Ronnie Rivera, a fire rescue spokesman.
The fire department doesn't know what caused the fire. The case remains under investigation. As of 11:30 p.m., firefighters were still trying to put out hot spots.
