Two Daly City firefighters were injured Wednesday when responding apparatus collided in an intersection.
Engine Truck 92 and Ladder 95 were headed to a kitchen fire when the collision occurred, KTVU reported.
Neighbors told reporters the crash sounded almost like an explosion.
"I see them with a lot of blood on the face," Angela Guzman told KTVU. "The firefighters- there was a lot of blood and their hands broken."
One resident said a paramedic on the engine truck almost immediately began attending to his injured colleagues.
