Memphis Medics Hurt in Ambulance Overturn

The Memphis paramedics were treated and released.

April 14--Two paramedics suffered minor injuries early Monday when their ambulance overturned, officials said.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Bill Morris Parkway, just west of the Ridgeway exit. The ambulance overturned; it's uncertain why.

Both paramedics were slightly injured, officials said. They have been treated and released. The ambulance has since been righted and moved out of the area.

Damages have not been estimated yet, Memphis Fire Department spokesman Lt. Wayne Cooke said.
