May 29--The former Nicholas County 911 director was arrested Monday for alleged credit card fraud.

According to a release from West Virginia State Police Public Information Officer Lt. Michael Baylous, 42-year-old Craigsville resident Carla Hennessey was taken into custody on one count of fraudulent schemes. It is alleged that Hennessey used a Nicholas County credit card for personal gain totaling $1,735.

"They had dismissed her from employment before these allegations were investigated," State Police Sgt. D.A. Evans said. "This happened between 2012 and 2013 and she was dismissed in the beginning of 2014."

Hennessey was arraigned in Nicholas County Magistrate Court and released on $5,000 bond.
