No injuries were reported after a messy crash occurred on Interstate 30 when an 18-wheeler transporting a mobile home rear-ended a UPS truck.

May 31--GREENVILLE -- A Friday morning accident east of Greenville created a huge mess.

"There were minor injuries at most," said Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Kyle Bradford of the crash at the 105 mile marker of westbound Interstate 30 at around 10 a.m. Friday.

"An 18-wheeler ran into the back of a United Parcel Service truck," Bradford said, noting the 18-wheeler was hauling a mobile home at the time of the collision.

In addition to the Department of Public Safety, the Campbell and Cash Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the scene, but no ambulances were needed.

"Actually there were no injuries at all," Bradford said.

But the debris from the accident caused some major headaches for motorists in and around the Commerce exit on Interstate 30.

"The roadway was closed for about two and one-half hours to allow for the clean-up," Bradford said.
