Boston firefighters are battling a five-alarm fire in the West Roxbury Wednesday night.

The fire involves the former Armstrong pharmaceutical factory, according to the CSSNE.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., firefighters found smoke showing from the three-story building at 423 Lagrange Street.

A tweet from Boston Fire Department's Twitter account said the structure is a "posted building" which advises firefighters to use defensive operations due to known hazards.

Shortly after 9 p.m., command reported that the one wall collapsed.

A tweet at 9:30 p.m. stated fire was still coming through the roof.

Last Wednesday, Boston firefighters struck nine alarms as fire spread through several apartment buildings.
