Pa. Fire Company Loses Top Responder

Circleville Firefighter Wille O. Sensenich died after responding to a call.

A Pennsylvania fire company has lost its top responder.

Circleville Firefighter Wille O. Sensenich, 69, died Tuesday just hours after he responded to an electrical fire. The cause of death has not been determined.

Last year, Sensenich responded to 365 of the department's 404 calls. 

So far this year, he had handled 139 of the 145 calls.

Funeral arrangements are pending. 

This brings to 44 the number of firefighters to die on duty so far this year.
