A Michigan firefighter who suffered an apparent heart attack after a fire last week has died.
Casnovia Township Firefighter Richard L. Crosby, 67, collapsed about an hour after an incident on Sept. 24.
Crosby, a 44-year veteran of the fire service, was taken off life support, and he died Sept. 26.
This brings to 64 the number of firefighters who have died on duty this year.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
