St. Louis Crews Called to Fire in Vacant Warehouse

Sixty firefighters were summoned to the scene just after 4 a.m.

ST. LOUIS - Firefighters battled a warehouse fire Wednesday morning at North Sixth and O'Fallon streets, north of the Dome at America's Center in downtown St. Louis. The scene is near the giant Vess soda bottle.

No injuries were reported in the fire. The five-story warehouse at 1333 North Sixth, formerly a McGuire Moving and Storage building, was vacant.

Authorities found no one inside when they searched it about 6:30 a.m. The two-alarm blaze was reported at about 4 a.m. Sixty firefighters were on the scene.
