A Toronto firefighter is facing a number of charges following after he burglarized fire station.
Police say that Joshua Pittarelli-Bucks, 35, called in false alarms and then took possessions.
The first incident happened in July, police told CTVNews.ca.
A couple week later, Toronto Police Const. David Hopkinson said two incident occurred on the same night and a chief spotted Pittarelli-Bucks exiting the station.
"When the fire chief returned to the station, he noticed a man leaving through the back of the station holding a backpack," Hopkinson said. "When he caught up to the man, he immediately recognized him as a firefighter that he had worked with."
He was arrested after he fled.
Pittarelli-Bucks, who joined the department in 2006, faces three counts of break and enter, public mischief, making a false alarm and cocaine possession.
